Select base metal prices rise on global cues
Select base metal prices moved up by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today on increased buying by stockists, tracking a firm global trend.

Traders said sentiment bolstered after aluminium and zinc rose in global markets ahead of China new trade data.
Meanwhile, at the London Metal Exchange, aluminium rose 0.4 per cent to $1,615 a metric tonne, while zinc advanced 0.9 per cent to $1,801 a metric tonne.
In the national capital, aluminium ingots, sheet cutting, wire scrap and utensils scrap were up by Rs 2 each to Rs 150, Rs 151, Rs 153 and Rs 150 per kg respectively.
Zinc ingots and nickel plate (4x4) traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 104-110 and Rs 909-914 per kg respectively.
