Saria weakens on reduced offtake by stockists

NEW DELHI: Saria prices fell by Rs 500 per tonne at the local steel market today on reduced offtake by stockists following slowdown in construction activity.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 500 each to Rs 49,100, Rs 47,700 and Rs 47,700, while saria 16-25-mm traded lower by the same margin to Rs 47,300 per tonne, respectively.

The following are today's quotations per tonne: Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm 49,100, 10-mm 47,700, 12-mm 46,700, 16-25 mm 47,300

Saria Jai Bharat (TMT): 8-mm 45,800, 10 mm 45,500, 12-mm 44,700, 16-25 mm 44,900.

Amba shakti (TMT): 8-mm 45,500, 10-mm 43,200, 12-mm 42,200, 16-25 mm 42,700.
