NEW DELHI: Refined soya oil extended gains for the second straight day by gaining 0.49 per cent to Rs 605.15 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions, tracking a firm trend at spot market on rising demand.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in January next year moved up by Rs 2.95, or 0.49 per cent to Rs 605.15 per 10 kg with an open interest of 73,120 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in February contract gained Rs 2.55, or 0.42 per cent to Rs 610 per 10 kg in 55,245 lots.
