Refined palmolein edges down in mute trade

MUMBAI: Refined palmolein edged down further in an otherwise mute Vashi oils and oilseeds market here today due to lack of retail buying support.

Meanwhile, groundnut oil, castorseed bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil held steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying.

In the edible segment, refined palmolein softened by a Re per 10kg to Rs 482. Groundnut oil was unaltered at Rs 1000 per 10kg.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil all held steady at Rs 3,900 per 100kg, Rs 810 and Rs 770 per 10kg, respectively.
