Pulses prices end flat on thin trade

Pulse prices remained flat at the wholesale pulses market today on small alternate bouts of trading.

NEW DELHI: Pulse prices remained flat at the wholesale pulses market today on small alternate bouts of trading.

Traders said negligible buying activity against adequate stocks position mainly kept prices unchanged.

Following were today's quotations in Rs per quintal: Urad 4,450-5,000, Urad chilka (local) 6,000-6,400, best 6,200-6,500, Dhoya 6,300-6,400, Moong Maharashtra 6,400-6,700, Dal moong chilka local 7,200-7,600, Moong Dhoya local 7,400-7,600 and best quality 7,950-8,150.

Masoor small 3,950-4,150, bold 3,900-4,150, Dal Masoor local 4,750-4,850, best quality 4,900-5,200, Malka local 4,500-4,650, best 4,650-4,750, Moth 5,900-6,200, Arhar 4,600-4,700, dal arhar dara 5,500-5,900.

Gram 2,200-2,275, gram dal (local) 2,500-2,525, best quality 2,550-2,650, besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,100, Rajdhani 1,100, Rajmah chitra Pune 3,600-4,200, China 3,700-4,200, red 3,500-3,600, kabli gram small 2,800-4,000, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,500-4,900, lobia 2,150-2,550, peas white 1,500-1,600 and green 1,800-2,000.
