Pulses futures remain steady in thin trade
Steady conditions prevailed in the wholesale pulses market today as prices moved in a narrow range in limited deals.
Traders said sufficient stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept pulses steady.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold advanced by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,200-4,400 and Rs 4,350-4,500 per quintal and its dal local and best quality traded higher by same margin to Rs 4,900-5,000 and Rs 5,000-5,100 per quintal, respectively.
Malka local and best quality also went up by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,700-4,800 and Rs 4,900-5,000 per quintal, respectively.
Arhar and its dal dara variety too spurted by Rs 300 each to Rs 4,450-5,000 and Rs 6,150-6,350 per quintal, respectively.
The following are today's pulses rates per quintal: Urad 3,700-4,100, Urad Chilka (local) 4,550-4,900, best 5,000-5,500, Dhoya 5,500-5,700, Moong 5,300-5,800, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,800-6,200, Moong Dhoya local 6,200-6,300 and best quality 6,900-7,000.
Masoor small 4,200-4,400, bold 4,350-4,600, Dal Masoor local 4,900-5,000, best quality 5,000-5,100, Malka local 4,700-4,800, best 4,900-5,000, Moth 3,600-4,200, Arhar 4,450-5,000, Dal Arhar Dara 6,150-6,350. Besin Rajdhani and shaktibhog Rs 1700 each per 35 kg bag.
Gram 3,350-3,700, Gram Dal (local) 4,000-4,100, best quality 4,300-4,400, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,700, Rajdhani 1,700, Rajmah Chitra 8,500-9,700, Kabli Gram small 4,000-6,100, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 3,500-4,600, Peas white 2,675-2,700 and green 2,750-2,800.
