Prices of urad dal, moong dal and wheat fall: Report

CHENNAI: The prices of urad dal, moong dal and wheat decreased while those of other commodities remained unchanged at the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Urad dal and moong dal declined by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 7,000 and Rs 8,500 from its closing rates of Rs 7,100 and Rs 8,600, respectively.

Wheat fell by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 2,400 from its closing rate of Rs 2,450.

Tur dal, gram dal, sugar, maida (90 kg) and sooji (90 kg) ruled steady.
