Prices of major commodities like moong dal, gram dal, maida move down

CHENNAI: Prices of moong dal,gram dal, maida and sooji decreased in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Moong dal and gram dal went down by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 7,700 and Rs 5400 from its closing rates of Rs 7800 and Rs 5500 respectively.

Maida(90 kg) and sooji(90 kg) declined by Rs 100 to Rs 2200 and Rs 2300 from its previous rates of Rs 2300 and Rs 2400 repectively.

Sugar price marginally increased by Rs 30 per quintal to Rs 3480 from Rs 3450.
