NEW DELHI: Potato prices moved down by 1.17 per cent to Rs 1,192 per quintal in futures trading today as speculators offloaded their positions on the back of weak demand against adequate supplies from producing regions.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, potato for delivery in March fell by Rs 14.10, or 1.17 per cent to Rs 1,192 per quintal in business turnover of 20 lots.

Likewise, the potato for delivery in April shed Rs 2.40, or 0.19 per cent to Rs 1236.40 per quintal in 7 lots.
