NEW DELHI: Potato prices moved down by 2.07 per cent to Rs 706.30 per quintal in futures trade today on adequate supplies following fresh arrivals from producing belts against lower demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, potato for delivery in April moved down by Rs 14.90, or 2.07 per cent, to Rs 706.30 per quintal, with a business turnover of 18 lots.

The potato for delivery in October traded lower by Rs 2.80, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 1,080 per quintal, with a business turnover of 23 lots.
