NMCE launches fresh contracts in six agri commodities
The National Multi-Commodity Exchange (NMCE) on Wednesday launched fresh futures contracts in six agricultural commodities, including coffee, chana, sack, soy oil, turmeric and gold.
AHMEDABAD: The National Multi-Commodity Exchange (NMCE) on Wednesday launched fresh futures contracts in six agricultural commodities, including coffee, chana, sack, soy oil, turmeric and gold.
The New contracts in both the varieties of coffee, arabica and robusta, were introduced on the exchange. They would both expire on July 15 and September 15 respectively, NMCE said in a statement.
It said the delivery centre for coffee would be the warehouse of Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) in Bangalore.
Two new contracts in chana were also launched today, which will expire on July 19 and August 20 respectively. The delivery centre for the same would be CWC warehouse in Delhi, it said.
NMCE said the sack contract would mature on July 15 and the delivery centre would be Kolkata. Meanwhile, soy oil and turmeric contract would close on July 19. The delivery centre for soy oil would be Indore and for turmeric Erode in Tamil Nadu and Nizamabad in Andhra Pradesh.
