Nickel prices drop in lacklustre trade
Nickel prices dropped along with select base metals at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockist selling on the back of subdued demand from industrial users
Nickel slumped by Rs 13 per kg to Rs 1,087 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,100.
Copper sheet cutting declined by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 464 from Rs 467.
Copper scrap heavy, copper armature, brass sheet cutting and zinc all softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 481, Rs 471 and Rs 333, respectively.
Meanwhile, brass utensils scrap edged up by Re 1 per kg to Rs 325.
