LONDON: Nickel fell to the lowest since March in London amid lingering concern that demand growth may stall in China and in Europe as economies weaken. China’s economic growth will slow to 7.2% this quarter, Song Guoqing, an academic member of the People’s Bank of China monetary policy advisory committee, said.




Business confidence in Germany dropped for a sixth month, the Ifo institute’s business climate index showed on Oct 27. "Prices were lower already, taking the lead from the weaker performance in Asian equities, as sentiment in general toward economic growth in China has been a bit weaker recently," said Eugen Weinberg, head of commodities research at Commerzbank.
