MUMBAI: Trading halts on MCX on "technical glitch," an MCX spokesperson has said. Brokers said that terminals went off around 19:12 hrs when base metals and energy trading happens. This is because these are internationally referenceable commodities.

A great part of trading on MCX happens in the second session. The MCX spokesperson added that exchange officials were trying to sort the issue and overcome the glitch.

MCX is the country's largest commodity exchange and one of the listed ones.
