Soybean futures slip on muted demand

The fall in soybean prices in futures trade was mostly due to reduction of exposure by participants, marketmen said.

Soybean for November delivery declined by Rs 19, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 3,847 per quintal with an open interest of 54,020 lots.
New Delhi: Soybean prices on Wednesday fell by Rs 16 to Rs 3,830 per quintal in futures market as participants cut down their positions on weak spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean contracts for October delivery traded lower by Rs 16, or 0.42 per cent, to Rs 3,830 per quintal with an open interest of 34,150 lots.

Soybean for November delivery declined by Rs 19, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 3,847 per quintal with an open interest of 54,020 lots.
