Soybean futures rise on fresh bets

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean for November delivery rose by Rs 28, or 0.62 percent, to Rs 4,541 per quintal with an open interest of 55 lots.

Marketmen said raising of fresh positions by speculators on the back of higher demand mainly led to rise in soybean prices.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean for November delivery rose by Rs 28, or 0.62 per cent, to Rs 4,541 per quintal with an open interest of 55 lots.


On the other hand, Soybean for December delivery went down by Rs 20, or 0.45 per cent to Rs 4,464 per quintal with an open interest of 1,62,710 lots.
