Silver futures decline on weak demand

NEW DELHI: Silver futures on Monday dropped Rs 224 to Rs 64,865 per kg as participants reduced their bets on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery tumbled by Rs 224, or 0.34 per cent, to Rs 64,865 per kg in a business turnover of 10,180 lots.

Silver traded lower by 0.49 per cent at USD 24.83 per ounce in New York.
