Silver futures drop on subdued demand

NEW DELHI: Silver futures on Tuesday dropped Rs 255 to Rs 67,414 per kg as participants reduced their bets on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery tumbled by Rs 255, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 67,414 per kg in a business turnover of 11,967 lots.

Silver traded lower by 0.47 per cent at USD26.17 per ounce in New York.
