Nickel futures slide on tepid demand

New Delhi: Nickel prices on Friday fell by 0.06 per cent to Rs 1,165.20 per kg in futures trade as participants offloaded their positions amid weak demand in spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel contracts for November delivery traded lower by 70 paise, or 0.06 per cent, at Rs 1,165.20 per kg with a business turnover of 1,676 lots.

Analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to the fall in nickel futures prices.
