Mentha prices gain weight as demand grows

NEW DELHI: Mentha oil prices were in the pink of health in the domestic futures market on Tuesday, driven by higher demand and restricted arrivals.

Around 11:15 am, the MCX Mentha oil was trading at Rs 1,598.50 a kg, up Rs 14.90, or 0.94 per cent.

Speculators ramping up their bets, along with limited supplies, made mentha oil prices shine.


Bullion was higher in the futures market, too. Crude oil prices also hardened.
