Mentha oil suffers strong losses on slump in spot demand
Speculators restricted positions in mentha futures, triggered by a fall in demand.

Speculators restricted positions in mentha futures, triggered by a fall in demand from consuming industries at the spot market and adequate stocks on higher supplies from the major producing regions.
Around 11:25 am, the MCX Mentha oil traded at Rs 1,296 per kg, down by Rs 35.50 or 2.67 per cent.
"The muted demand in key spot markets in UP along with continued supply is putting pressure on prices and may continue to be bearish towards lower levels of Rs 1,190 - 1,200," said Mustafa Nadeem, CEO, Epic Research.
