Guar Seed futures decline on low demand

New Delhi: Guar seed prices on Monday went down by Rs 35 to Rs 4,077 per 10 quintal in futures trade. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for October delivery was trading at Rs 4,077 down by Rs 35, or 0.85 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 24,310 lots.

Likewise, for November delivery, the futures prices decreased Rs 42, or 1.02 per cent, to Rs 4,079 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 31,980 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
