Guar Seed futures decline on low demand

New Delhi: Guar seed prices on Thursday went down by Rs 6 to Rs 3,973 per 10 quintal in futures trade. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for October delivery was trading at Rs 3,973 down by Rs 6, or 0.15 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 39,575 lots.

Likewise, for November delivery, the futures prices decreased Rs 8, or 0.2 per cent, to Rs 3,986 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 10,660 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
