Guar Seed futures decline on low demand
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.

New Delhi: Guar seed prices on Thursday went down by Rs 53 to Rs 4,060 per 10 quintal in futures trade.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for September delivery was trading at Rs 4,060 down by Rs 53, or 1.29 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 4,220 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
However, for October delivery, the futures prices increased Rs 8 or 0.2 per cent, to Rs 4,063 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 43,315 lots.
