Guar Seed futures decline on low demand

New Delhi: Guar seed prices on Wednesday went down by Rs 11 to Rs 4,120 per 10 quintal in futures trade. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for September delivery was trading at Rs 4,120 down by Rs 11, or 0.27 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 5,355 lots.

Likewise, for October delivery, the futures prices decreased Rs 23, or 0.57 per cent, to Rs 4,045 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 42,290 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
