Gold Rate Today: Gold, silver trade mixed in morning deals
SPDR Gold Trust GLD, the world's largest gold-backed exchange-traded fund, said its holdings stood at 773.41 down 3.24 tonnes.

MCX Gold futures were trading 0.03 per cent, or Rs 9 higher at Rs 29,339 per 10 grams at 11:09 am (IST), while MCX Silver futures were down 0.17 per cent, or Rs 61, at Rs 36,828 per 1 kg at the same time.
SPDR Gold Trust GLD, the world's largest gold-backed exchange-traded fund, said its holdings stood at 773.41 down 3.24 tonnes, from the previous business day.
Holdings of the largest silver-backed exchange-traded-fund(ETF), New York's iShares Silver Trust SLV, stood at 10236.28 up 58.50 tonnes, from the previous business day.
Nirmal Bang Securities in its daily report says, "We expect prices to trade rangebound for the day, as dollar held steady, but the metal remained on track to post its biggest weekly decline since May 2017."
On the global front, gold prices edged higher in early trade.
