NEW DELHI: Bullion was trading with healthy gains in the domestic futures market on Thursday amid a rise in demand of the precious metals by local jewellers at the spot market and positive global cues.

Gold prices inched up in global markets on Thursday as a dip in Asian equities and worries about a sharp global economic slowdown propelled demand for safer investments, Reuters reported.

The MCX Gold was trading at Rs 31,850 per 10 grams, up by Rs 240, while MCX Silver was trading Rs 197 higher at Rs 39,324 a kilo around 10:15 am.
