Gold Rate Today: Gold, silver trade higher in morning deals

NEW DELHI: Precious metals gold and silver were trading in the green in the late morning deals

Holdings of the largest silver-backed exchange-traded-fund (ETF), New York's iShares Silver Trust SLV, stood at 10236.28 tonnes, remain unchanged from the previous business day.


Nirmal Bang Securities in its report said, "We expect prices to trade rangebound to higher for the day, with the dollar under pressure in the wake of a trade deal between the United States and Mexico."

On the global front, gold prices held steady after hitting a two-week high in the previous session.
