Crude oil futures edge lower on low demand

On MCX, crude oil for May delivery eased by Rs 7 to Rs 4,665 per barrel.

NEW DELHI: Crude oil futures on Friday fell 0.15 per cent to Rs 4,665 per barrel as participants reduced their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for May delivery eased by Rs 7, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 4,665 per barrel with a business volume of 4,522 lots.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.17 per cent lower at USD 63.71 per barrel, while Brent crude was quoting 0.39 per cent down at USD 66.79 per barrel in New York.
