Crude oil futures drop on low demand

NEW DELHI: Crude oil futures on Monday fell 0.54 per cent to Rs 4,435 per barrel as participants reduced their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery eased by Rs 24, or 0.54 per cent, to Rs 4,435 per barrel with a business volume of 4,062 lots.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.91 per cent lower at USD 60.86 per barrel, while Brent crude was quoting 0.74 per cent down at USD 64.05 per barrel in New York.
