Crude oil futures decline on low demand

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 1.38 per cent lower at $45.62 per barrel, while Brent crude was quoting 1.18 per cent lower at $48.67 per barrel in New York.

NEW DELHI: Crude oil futures on Monday fell by 0.91 per cent to Rs 3,376 per barrel as participants reduced their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery eased by Rs 31, or 0.91 per cent, to Rs 3,376 per barrel with a business volume of 1,636 lots.
