Copper prices on Thursday rose 0.33 per cent to Rs 620 per kg in futures trade on a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for January delivery traded higher by Rs 2.05, or 0.33 per cent, at Rs 620 per kg in a business turnover of 4,478 lots.
