NEW DELHI: Agri-commodity bourse Ncdex on Tuesday restricted trading in potato futures to four varieties and eased quality norms to improve participation.
“We have changed the contract parameters and specified four recognised potato varieties — Agra 3797, Jyoti, Badshah and Laukar — for futures trading hereafter,” Ncdex business development officer Vijay Kumar said. The four varieties have been identified based on members’ feedback.
