Moong, its dal prices up on scattered buying

Moong dal dhoya local and best quality also edged up by the same margion to Rs 6,250-6,350 and Rs 6,950-7,050 per quintal, respectively.

NEW DELHI: Moong and its dal prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market on Thursday on scattered buying from retailers.

However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in restricted buying and settled around previous levels.

Traders said some buying by retailers mainly helped moong and its dal prices to trade higher.

In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,350-5,850 and Rs 5,850-6,250 per quintal, respectively.

Moong dal dhoya local and best quality also edged up by the same margion to Rs 6,250-6,350 and Rs 6,950-7,050 per quintal, respectively.
