Moong dal, sugar move up; thoor dal down

CHENNAI: The prices of moongdal and sugar increased while thoordal decreased, rest all other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Moong dal rose by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.7800 from its closing rate of Rs.7700.

Sugar increased by Rs.30 per quintal to Rs.3180 from its previous rate of Rs.3150.

Thoor dal declined by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.7500 from its earlier rate of Rs.7600.

Urad dal, gram dal,wheat,maida(90 kg) and Sooji(90) ruled steady.
