MUMBAI : Prices of copper, nickel, lead and brass declined moderately on the non-ferrous metal market here on Wednesday due to lack of industrial demand coupled with lower advices from London Metal Exchange (LME).
Copper armiture dropped by Rs 7 per kilo to Rs 371 and copper sheets cutting by Rs 7 per kilo to Rs 366.
Nickel, copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap and copper wirebar all declined by Rs 5 per kilo each to Rs 1,120, Rs 386, Rs 380, Rs 344 and Rs 414 respectively.
Lead also ended lower by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 96, brass sheets cutting by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 266 and brass utensils scrap by a rupee per kilo to Rs 251.
However, zinc edged up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 100 from Rs 99 previously.
