Mixed trend in metal prices
Prices of nickel, copper utensils, zinc, lead and brass declined moderately in the mixed non- ferrous metal market here today owing to lack of demand from industrial users.
MUMBAI: Prices of nickel, copper utensils, zinc, lead and brass declined moderately in the mixed non- ferrous metal market here on Monday owing to lack of demand from industrial users.
However, prices of copper cable, copper scrap heavy, copper wirebar and aluminium moved up owing to good industrial buying inquiries.
Nickel fell by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,115 and copper utensils scrap by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 347.
Copper sheets cutting, brass sheets cutting, zinc and lead also ended lower by a rupee per kg each to Rs 374, Rs 269, Rs 99 and Rs 99 respectively.
However, copper cable scrap moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 394 and copper wire bar by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 422.
Copper scrap heavy, aluminium ingots and aluminium utensils scrap also ended higher by a rupee per kg each to Rs 388, Rs 150 and Rs 115 respectively.
