Menthol prices rise on increased industrial demand

Menthol prices rose by Rs 10 per quintal on the local chemical market today on increased industrial demand against limited arrivals.

NEW DELHI: Menthol prices rose by Rs 10 per quintal on the local chemical market today on increased industrial demand against limited arrivals.

Traders said increased demand from consuming industries against restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly pushed up menthol prices.

In the national capital, menthol bold crystal, flake and oil were up by Rs 10 each to Rs 1505, Rs 1450 and Rs 1400 per kg, respectively.
