NEW DELHI: Menthol prices fell by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today largely due to subdued demand from consuming units.

In addition, adequate stocks on increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh also kept pressure on the prices

Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices fell by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,130, Rs 1,730 and Rs 1,500 per kg, respectively.

Marketmen said reduced offtake by consuming units against increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh markets, mainly put pressure on the menthol prices.
