Menthol prices decline on reduced offtake

Menthol prices fell by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.

NEW DELHI: Menthol prices fell by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.

Increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh also weighed on the menthol prices.

Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices fell by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 1,290, Rs 1,210 and Rs 1,045 per kg, respectively.
