NEW DELHI: Menthol prices fell by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.

Increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh also weighed on the menthol prices.

Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices declined by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 1,045, Rs 985 and Rs 885 per kg, respectively.

Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly pulled down menthol prices.
