Menthol declines on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI: Menthol prices fell by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.

Increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh and weakening trend in future market also weighed on the menthol prices.

Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices fell by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 1,105, Rs 1,045 and Rs 905 per kg, respectively.
