Mentha oil prices decline 0.66% on profit-booking
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in June fell by Rs 6.20 to Rs 927 per kg, with a business volume of 414 lots.

NEW DELHI: Mentha oil prices fell by 0.66 per cent to Rs 927 per kg in futures trade on Wednesday as speculators indulged in profit-booking amid subdued spot demand.
Besides, adequate stocks position following increased arrivals from Chandousi in Uttar Pradesh.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in June fell by Rs 6.20, or 0.66 per cent, to Rs 927 per kg, with a business volume of 414 lots.
Similarly, mentha oil prices for the May delivery drifted by Rs 5.20, or 0.56 per cent, to Rs 918.50 per kg, with a business turnover of 48 lots.
The fall in mentha oil prices at futures trade was mostly due to profit-booking by speculators and weak trend at spot market on subdued demand, traders said.
