Masoor, its dal decline on sluggish demand

Masoor and its dal prices declined by Rs 50 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale pulses market today following subdued demand.

NEW DELHI: Masoor and its dal prices declined by Rs 50 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale pulses market today following subdued demand against adequate stocks position.

However, other pulses, moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.

Marketmen said subdued demand against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on masoor and its dal prices.

In the national capital, masoor small and bold shed Rs 50 each to Rs 3,400-3,700 and Rs 3,550-3,800 and its dal local and best quality were also traded lower at Rs 4,400-4,500 and Rs 4,500-4,550 per quintal, respectively.
