Malaysian palm futures slip

Malaysian palm futures down on weak soya oil and rising production.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian crude palm oil futures fell 0.9% on Tuesday, pressured by losses in rival soya bean oil and rising production.

The benchmark October contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell 23 ringgit, or 0.9% to 2,517 ringgit ($731) a tonne. Other traded months fell between 19 and 30 ringgit.
