Kishmish (Kandhari) prices on Saturday fell by Rs 100-200 per 40 kg bags in the national capital on subdued demand from retailers and stockists coupled with adequate stock positions.

NEW DELHI: Kishmish (Kandhari) prices on Saturday fell by Rs 100-200 per 40 kg bags in the national capital on subdued demand from retailers and stockists coupled with adequate stock positions.

Increased arrivals from overseas markets also supported the prices.

Kishmish kandhari special and local prices traded lower at Rs 10,000-13,800 and Rs 4,800-5,800 against the previous closing level of Rs 10,100-14,000 and Rs 5,000-6,000 per 40 kg bags respectively.

Marketmen said sluggish demand from retailers as well as stockists mainly pulled down kishmish prices.

They said comfortable stocks position following increased arrivals from overseas markets also influenced prices.

Meanwhile, prices of other dry fruits ruled steady on scattered deals.
