Jeera prices decline on subdued demand

Jeera prices fell by Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today due to weak domestic as well as export demand.

NEW DELHI: Jeera prices fell by Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today due to weak domestic as well as export demand.

Jeera common and jeera best quality fell by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 14,500-14,600 and Rs 17,400-17,900 per quintal, respectively.

Traders said subdued export and domestic demand against adequate stocks mainly pulled down jeera prices in the wholesale kirana market here.
