Jeera futures fall on profit-booking, higher output
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, jeera for delivery in March fell by Rs 147.50, or 1.09 per cent.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, jeera for delivery in March fell by Rs 147.50, or 1.09 per cent to Rs 13,360 per quintal with an open interest of 10,107 lots.
Likewise, the spice for delivery in April lost Rs 140, or 1.03 per cent to Rs 13,445 per quintal with an open interest of 7,881 lots.
Analysts said profit-booking by speculators on expectations of higher output mainly influenced the jeera prices at futures trade.
