Jeera futures fall 0.49% on supply pressures
Jeera for delivery in August fell by Rs 55, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 11,185 per quintal with an open interest of 4,824 lots.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, jeera for delivery in August fell by Rs 55, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 11,185 per quintal with an open interest of 4,824 lots.
Similarly, the spice for delivery in September shed Rs 55, or 0.48 per cent, to Rs 11,380 per quintal in 4,809 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in jeera futures to offloading of positions by speculators on the back of adequate stocks position.
