NEW DELHI: Jeera prices moved down by 0.85 per cent to Rs 13,157.50 per quintal in futures trade today on higher supplies from producing regions against weak demand in the spot market.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, jeera for delivery in July moved down by Rs 112.50, or 0.85 per cent to Rs 13157.50 per quintal with an open interest of 5,646 lots.

Likewise, the spice for delivery in August traded lower by Rs 107.50, or 0.79 per cent to Rs 13527.50 per quintal in 16,215 lots.
